A typical problem about windows mobile emulator is the internet configuration.

The first steps are to install the emulator

Install device emulator to manage the images:

Standalone Device Emulator 1.0 with Windows Mobile OS Images

Choice which images do you want, 6 or 5:

• Windows Mobile 6.1.4 Emulator Images
• Microsoft Device Emulator 3.0 -- Standalone Release (windows mobile 5.0)

Install Active sync to manage connection:
Microsoft ActiveSync 4.5

After installation you have to start the image:
Programs >> Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 MSFP Emulator Images >> Smartphone - Coldboot

waiting that image is started and attach the emulator to Active Sync to connect to internet by Device Emulator Manager:

• Click on refresh button from device emulator
• Click right button on the device id
• Click on Cradle options
• now should be auto start Active Sync follow the setup to register the emulator's profile

Now you are ready to access in internet with your emulator.
